Produced by SKY-HI and Sunny, this version honors the original’s signature groove funk basslines, rhythmic piano, and lush strings while propelling it into the present. Live band recordings were captured through the iconic Neve 8068 analog console, then reassembled with a modern HIP HOP sensibility. Retaining the chorus melody, BE:FIRST infuses new lyrics and rap verses to deliver a distinctly 2025 sound while preserving the soul of the original.

Serving as the theme for the film WIND BREAKER starring member JUNON, “Stay Strong” is co-produced by SKY-HI × Yaffle. With layered strings, guitars, and drums, it expands BE:FIRST’s sonic palette. JUNON co-wrote the lyrics, echoing the film’s message: true strength isn’t just about winning, it’s about standing firm and protecting what matters.
Since debuting under BMSG, BE:FIRST has topped charts even before their official debut, filled Japan’s four major domes, and launched their first world tour across the U.S., Asia, and Europe.
