Billie Eilish, American pop singer, is in the middle of her Asia Tour in 6 countries such as Philippines, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Japan. She performed her world tour concert “Happier Than Ever” in Singapore on August 21st, 2022.
This concert was attended by 30,000 people and the first concert that was held at the venue since COVID-19 pandemic happened in 2020. People must show proof that they were vaccinated before entering the venue and always wear their masks throughout the concert.
Before the pandemic put an end to live concerts, Taiwanese artist Jay Chou gave the final performance at the National Stadium in January 2020. He performed there for two nights. Billie Eilish’s concert marked the return of large-scale music events to the location although it has held sport events including the AFF Suzuki Cup in December 2021 and a friendly match between Premier League clubs Liverpool and Crystal Palace in July.
