Caroline Romano Unveils Her Latest Single, “Born To Want More”

Bingkai Karya– Nashville alt-pop singer and songwriter Caroline Romano releases her stirring new single, “Born To Want More.” This publication also reveals the title of Caroline’s much anticipated early 2025 EP, How The Good Girls Die.

“Born To Want More,” together with recent successes “Body Bag” and “Pretty Boys,” sets the tone for an EP that will push creative boundaries and solidify Caroline’s alt-pop identity. “Born To Want More” is a raw and emotional song about chasing aspirations that seem unattainable. The music begins with stripped-back guitar and Caroline’s expressive vocals before becoming a frenetic indie-rock soundscape that highlights her message of yearning and resilience.

Caroline explains her inspiration: “I wrote ‘Born to Want More’ when I was struggling with a series of ‘almosts’—those moments when things felt so close but still out of reach. This song conveys that desperate sense of wondering if you’ll ever discover what you want. You seek experiences and feelings you know exist but haven’t found. I know it too well.” She says, “It’s by far one of my more vulnerable songs I’ve released, and it’s one of my favorites for that reason.”

Nashville-based Caroline Romano, 23, seamlessly switches between misty-eyed ballads and explosive alt-rock blasts. Since her 2022 debut album, Oddities and Prodigies, and her 2023 EP, A Brief Epic, Caroline has continued to develop as an artist, unveiling new depths with each release.

Today’s young woman is masterfully explored in her music. Her songs are unfiltered and full of agony, hedonism, and reflection. Caroline has also been known for her high-energy live performances, performing at Nashville landmarks like The Basement East and The End and accompanying Grayscale and Smallpools on their US tour.
