Celebrate The First Songs That Started His Career, Mac Ayres Releases His Latest Mixtape “cloudy”

Bingkai Karya- Mac Ayres, a rising R&B performer, croons calmly yet gets extremely reflective. Often over self-produced instrumentals, Mac Ayres returns with his latest mixtape, “cloudy”

The fifteen-track project tells a personal story of coming of age set in and around his growing years in Sea Cliff and Boston. Mac skillfully revisits his most popular SoundCloud songs, including “she just wanna see me rn”, “LOVE”, “she won’t stay long”, and more, to document his self-transformation. The singer-songwriter creates soothing tunes that show his artistic growth via his unique, odd vision.

Regarding clouds, Mac Ayres: “This project honors my musical roots. Early songs I wrote and produced. I was learning a lot about myself as well as my craft. I wrote these songs during a moment of great uncertainty. I graduated from high school, fell in love, and experienced both my most ecstatic and most depressing moments. I hope this effort conveys my innocence, naivety, and love of music.  I still identify with these songs eight years after composing and recording them. I hope it reminds you that you can never know where you’re going without knowing where you’ve been. Thank you for listening to my music since then. You made my life and creativity possible, and I’ll never thank you enough. I sincerely hope you like this trip down memory lane with me, but as always, there are more songs to be written.”

Mac’s Voice

Mac’s voice, which he controls like an instrument, illuminates love and grief. Respected by peers and admirers, he embraces the past to go forward. The outcome is a recognizable, bravely nostalgic tone that shapes him.

Mac writes impassioned, relatable songs from his life experiences. Multi-instrumentalist has come a long way from 2017’s RIAA gold-certified single “Easy,” which launched his career. Without slowing down, the indie sensation is taking his DIY approach to a wider audience.
