Celebrating National Poetry Day 2023 and Reminiscing Chairil Anwar on April 28

National Poetry Day is celebrated on April 28 every year. This special day is inseparable from the figure of a prominent poet in Indonesia, Chairil Anwar. According to the Ministry of Education and Culture’s DITSMP official website, National Poetry Day refers to the anniversary of Chairil Anwar’s death.
