Chameleon Lime Whoopiepie Crashes into One Piece with Chaotic New Ending Theme “PUNKS”

Bingkai KaryaChameleon Lime Whoopiepie (CLWP) has unleashed “PUNKS”, the official new ending theme for One Piece’s Egghead Arc and it’s anything but your typical anime ballad. It’s quirky, it’s loud, it’s chaotic, and it hits hard.

With its glitchy “piipapii papipo” hook, sugar-rush chorus, and chaos-pop production, “PUNKS” feels like a sonic punch straight to the gut, tailor-made for mosh pits, mirror selfies, and late-night internet rabbit holes. This is CLWP at their best: genre-bending, joyfully unhinged, and unapologetically unpredictable.

Even the artwork matches the madness, featuring Egghead’s Dr. Vegapunk trapped inside a CRT television, fused with CLWP’s candy-colored visuals in a retro-futuristic fever dream.

“I never imagined I’d be in charge of a One Piece ending, honestly, I was shocked, like, why us!?” says Chi-, the artist behind CLWP. “I’ve been watching the anime and reading the manga for years, so it made me incredibly happy. Because it’s such a beloved series worldwide, I felt a huge responsibility, but since we were chosen, I wanted to enjoy the process like we always do. I kept that futuristic ‘pipapipo’ energy alive while also pouring in raw emotion. I put so much love into it, I thought my head might explode. Now all that’s left is for everyone to dance, are you ready? Let’s dance!”

The music video? A total sensory overload. Directed and edited by a CLWP member, it’s a DIY sugar-rave bursting with brain-bending visuals, somewhere between a sci-fi dive bar and a neon candy shop.

The official non-credit version of the ending is also streaming now on the One Piece YouTube channel, the full “PUNKS” experience, no distractions.

With their rapidly growing global fanbase, an unmistakable visual identity, and a head full of musical curveballs, Chameleon Lime Whoopiepie is proving themselves as one of Japan’s most exciting new acts. Love them or never forget them, maybe both.

In 2025, resistance is useless. Just pipapipo with it.
