Bingkai Karya – The collaboration with TWICE – which includes Korean lyrics from the K-pop superstars – is available to listen to at coldplay.lnk.to/WEPRAYTWICE. This collaboration follows the release of the previous version featuring Little Simz, TINI, Elyanna, and Jasleen Royal.
TWICE said about the collaboration: “We believe WE PRAY is a song about overcoming hardships together and sharing a message of peace and hope. We are truly honored to collaborate with Coldplay on this release and very proud that each of us recorded our parts in Korean, allowing us to fully express our emotions in our own language. We’ve seen so much support and love!”
TWICE were the main opening act at Coldplay’s record-breaking stadium shows in Seoul, where they also debuted their version of WE PRAY on stage together with Coldplay on the band’s opening night, which took place on Wednesday evening.
WE PRAY – which topped global airplay and download charts – also features renowned British rapper Little Simz, Nigerian Afrobeat superstar Burna Boy, Palestinian-Chilean R&B phenomenon Elyanna, and chart-topping Argentine artist TINI.
TWICE’s verse is as follows:
So we just pray
English translation:
JIHYO
Even if not a single thread of light falls down in the darkness
MINA
Even if not a single bit of warmth is given
SANA
Even if no one looks at me
TZUYU
May I bloom alone, may I shine through
DAHYUN
When dawn arrives
NAYEON
Will we be smiling at the end of that road
JEONGYEON
At the edge of the cliff, will we be holding each other?
MOMO
Tell me the answer
CHAEYOUNG
Will we disappear or last forever
So we just pray
The song is taken from Coldplay’s current album, Moon Music, which debuted at No. 1 on album charts worldwide – including in the United States, becoming Coldplay’s fifth U.S. No. 1 album (more than any other British soloist or group this century), surpassing the overall Top 40 total.
In December, Coldplay won Top Rock Touring Artist at the Billboard Music Awards for the second year in a row. Since beginning in March 2022, the band’s Music Of The Spheres World Tour has sold more than 12 million tickets across Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand – making it the most attended tour in history.
Recently, Coldplay shared an update on the sustainability initiatives of the tour, revealing that, compared to their previous shows, the current tour has generated 59% less CO₂e emissions than their 2016–17 stadium tour – exceeding their initial target of a 50% reduction.
