Dagny has released her latest single “Ray-Bans”, which is part of a trilogy of mini-albums. She has infused this single with a 90s indie-pop vibe in melancholic undertones.
“Ray-Bans” is one of Dagny’s songs showcasing her vulnerability. “This song is a continuation of the inevitable heartbreak that was predicted in the single ‘Heartbreak in The Making’. I also tried to create a different atmosphere while revealing a slightly more vulnerable side compared to some of my previous works,” she explained.
The mini-album trilogy by Dagny begins with the introduction of a character named ELLE. She is the main character and the title of the first part of this trilogy, set to be released later this year. In the single “Ray-Bans”, ELLE is depicted as doubting herself in her post-breakup confusion, with questions like “Am I really that bad?” constantly haunting her thoughts.
