Bingkai Karya – Coldiac returns with a remake project of the nostalgic love song “Didadaku Ada Kamu (You’re in My Heart)” by Dodo Zakaria. The track serves as the second installment from their upcoming mini-album (EP), Loving You Like This, continuing the love story previously introduced through “Dia (Admiration)” by Randy Anwar.
According to the band from Malang, East Java, while their version of “Dia (Admiration)” told the story of admiration and falling in love at first, “Didadaku Ada Kamu (You’re in My Heart)” portrays the next phase, feelings growing deeper and transforming into the desire to truly be with the person you love.
For Coldiac, the song is not just a remake of a legendary track, but part of a broader story they want to convey. “For us, this song continues the story we began in “Dia (Admiration)”. If “Dia (Admiration)” is about admiration, “Didadaku Ada Kamu (You’re in My Heart)” is when those feelings grow uncontrollably into a desire to truly have the person you love,” said the five members in a written press release on Friday, October 10, 2025.
Before today’s release, the band shared a jamming video of several old songs, including “Didadaku Ada Kamu (You’re in My Heart)”, on their social media. The content received a warm response from fans, making the 1980s hit originally performed by Vina Panduwinata feel even more special and challenging for the band, which consists of Tama (vocals & guitar), Sambadha (vocals & guitar), Derry (keyboard), and Bhima (bass).
“Creating our own version of such an iconic song was its own challenge. Beyond its historical value and status as a classic, its narrative also aligns with the storyline we want to build. That’s why we chose it, as a tribute to a masterpiece that has already lived in the hearts of many listeners,” they said.
The production process for “Didadaku Ada Kamu (You’re in My Heart)” was also exciting. Coldiac spent considerable time ensuring all songs on the EP connected seamlessly, including the visuals. “We created the visualizer with our team in Malang. The concept was minimal, using only a single 360 camera,” they added. “The fun part? We finished visualizers for the entire mini-album in just one day. It was exhausting, but extremely satisfying because the results matched our vision.”
With Coldiac’s signature soft arrangement and romantic vibe, “Didadaku Ada Kamu (You’re in My Heart)” is perfect for anyone in love, missing someone, or simply wanting to feel that warmth again. “We released this song for anyone who has ever been or is currently in love,” they said. “We hope “Di Dadaku (In My Heart)” can accompany all kinds of moments, sweet, full of longing, or simply nostalgic.”
