Dua Lipa and SZA Make History at Glastonbury Festival

Bingkai Karya – This year’s Glastonbury Festival is shaping up to be a landmark event, with female artists taking center stage. Dua Lipa and SZA will headline two of the festival’s prestigious Pyramid Stage nights, marking the first time women have held two of the top three headlining slots.

Country music legend Shania Twain adds to the girl power, gracing the coveted “legend slot” on Sunday afternoon. This marks her Glastonbury debut, a dream come true for the singer-songwriter.

Dua Lipa, making her Pyramid Stage debut, expressed her excitement on a social media platform. SZA, also a Glastonbury first-timer, will perform on Saturday night. Meanwhile, Coldplay returns for a record-breaking fifth time as Sunday night’s headliner.

The festival boasts an impressive lineup beyond the headliners, with acts like Little Simz, Burna Boy, Janelle Monáe, LCD Soundsystem, Avril Lavigne, Camila Cabello, and Disclosure gracing the stages.

Glastonbury, a historic festival dating back to 1970, continues to attract the biggest names in music. While tickets for this year’s event (£360/$460) are sold out, a resale of returned tickets will take place in April before the festival kicks off on June 26th.
