Bingkai Karya-Shye, Singaporean musician known for her captivating voice and songwriting, has just dropped her latest single, “Without You.” This new track explores the journey of growing up, delving into the ups and downs. Including those challenging breakups that, while tough, often turn out to be the right decision.

Shye reveals that her new song was sparked by an unexpected question she was never asked before. “Why did our relationship end? Will you come back and try again?” This question made her pause and reflect deeply on a past experience. Her response was a firm “no,” as she believes everything happens for a reason and chose to stay true to her decision.

Despite “Without You” being about a breakup, Shye maintains an optimistic tone in the song. “Sometimes, being able to continue loving someone, even after a bad experience, is one way to heal from the pain. It’s not easy but it’s a healthy way to really let ourselves heal,” she explained.

Taking back control of everything is also the highest form of self-love for me,” Shye said. “I hope listeners of my music can connect with the lyrics and find the strength to keep going and look forward to better times,” she concluded.
