Two goals against Everton at the same time perfected the evening for Ilkay Guendogan, who played his 300th match with Man City in all competitions. This victory has led Man City to stay in first place in the Premier League standings and away from Arsenal.

The Citizens, nicknamed Man City, are currently collecting 85 points from 35 matches that have been played in the 2022-2023 Premier League. Man City is four points ahead of Arsenal who are in second place. Arsenal must beat Brighton if they want to close the gap on Man City.
