Bingkai Karya-Balinese folk duo Nosstress released their latest single “Puding Pelangi.” The song is Man Angga and Guna Warna’s introduction to the new album titled “Lebih Dekat.” The band’s sixth album launched via digital music platforms on Friday, June 7 along with the song “Puding Pelangi.”

Containing 8 tracks including the singles “Doa Terima Kasih”, “Puding Pelangi” and two old songs, this album was produced with simple technicalities by Nosstress. Unlike the previous five albums that were worked on in the studio with professional audio recording equipment.

The audio and visual recording process of the album “Lebih Dekat” fully utilized Man Angga and Guna Warma’s personal devices. They did not bother about the technicalities of producing works that generally have to use studio recording tools.

“In this new album, we decided to record everything using only our personal cell phones. Whether it’s during recording or when shooting videos,” said Man Angga.

The mixing and mastering process of “Lebih Dekat” was also done independently by Man Angga at Nosstress Playground. Although from a technical point of view, “Lebih Dekat” is simpler, they believe that everything comes back to the essence of the song. How to write good lyrics that don’t harm anyone is more important to nosstress. According to them, the power of a song lies in its ability to represent what people feel.

Speaking of themes, the album “Lebih Dekat” talks about Man Angga and Guna Warma’s closest space, which is family. They created their work as an appreciation for their family, as well as an expression of gratitude for the Nosstress listeners.
