Fall Out Boy, the multi-platinum-selling GRAMMY Award-nominated rock band, has announced that its eighth studio album, “So Much (For) Stardust”, will be released on March 24, 2023, and has previewed the album with lead single “Love From The Other Side.” Along with the song, Fall Out Boy released an official video, which was directed by David Braun and Open The Portal.
“So much (for) Stardust” sees Fall Out Boy reuniting with acclaimed producer Neal Avron, with whom they had previously collaborated on their previous three albums (From Under the Cork Tree, Infinity on High, and Folie à Deux). Furthermore, “So Much (For) Stardust” will be released by Fueled By Ramen and Elektra, marking Fall Out Boy’s first album with the label since their 2003 debut album Take This to Your Grave, which will also celebrate its 20th anniversary on May 6.

This latest project began in November, after a mysterious advertisement appeared in the Chicago Tribune, and continued in December with several website teasers featuring a clay animation video titled “A Claymation Fall Out Boy Celebration” at Christmas with a short clip of “Love From The Other Side” in the background for eagle-eared fans who are aware of it.
The band officially announced the single release date on January 11, just days before taking the stage at iHeartRadio ALTer EGO 2023 on Saturday in Los Angeles, California. So Much (For) Stardust is Fall Out Boy’s first studio album since 2018’s M A N I A, which earned the band a GRAMMY nomination for Best Rock Album and marked the band’s third consecutive number one album and fourth overall.
