Bingkai Karya – CACCIA is set to release their new single “Wish I Was Her,” featuring the talented rapper Kara Chenoa. This song will be the first of four tracks on their upcoming EP titled “Blue Hour.”
“Wish I Was Her” delves into the story of unrequited love. The lyrics explore the pain of longing for someone who is already in a relationship, with the singer fantasizing about being the partner of the person they desire, rather than just an admirer. It explores the bittersweet reality of wanting attention that cannot be possessed.
The production mixes bossa nova acoustic guitar, 808 beats, and vibrant synthesizers with Anya’s soulful vocals, keeping CACCIA’s R&B roots while showcasing Kara Chenoa’s distinct rap style. The song stands out for its unique blend of sad lyrics and upbeat tempo, creating a mix of melancholy and addictive rhythms that resonate with listeners.
CACCIA is a dynamic R&B/Soul duo from Jakarta, Indonesia, made up of Anya (vocals) and Kenny (instrumental). Although they began making music just for fun, they officially formed CACCIA in 2018. Their sound blends R&B, Soul, Future House, and Pop influences.
They’ve dropped several popular tracks: “I Won’t Let You” (October 2019), “Let Me Confess” (February 2021), and “L.D.R” (September 2021). These songs have been featured in top Spotify playlists like New Music Friday Indonesia and Fresh Finds Indonesia. Also those have been highlighted by media such as Billboard Indonesia, Mousaik, and Musicvibe. CACCIA was also part of Decemberkid’s “Take Me Away” (December 2018) and NMDN’s “Better Off Alone” (January 2022).
