FLAVS Festival 2023 shared the latest news after announcing the date and line-up for the first phase back in May. British girl group, FLO, will add to the list of the newest international performers at the festival which create various cultures and colors in the R&B, hip hop and soul industry.
FLO is a girl group that can be considered promising in the realm of R&B. Since releasing their debut single “Cardboard Box” in March 2022, the trio’s name has continued to skyrocket, even winning on Radio 1’s BBC Sound of 2023 and the 2023 BRIT Rising Star Award. After releasing “Cardboard Box”, FLO also released another single “ Immature” and “Not My Job” which are included in their EP entitled “The Lead”. Recently, FLO collaborated with Missy Elliot on the single “Fly Girl” which was just released in March 2023.
Not only announcing FLO as additional international performers, FLAVS Festival 2023 also announced a number of Indonesian musicians who are also interesting. Some of the names of these local musicians are Mahalini, GANGGA, Amster Gank, Bennett A.K., Def Bloc Union, Paul Partohap, Son of Garuda, St.Loco, and many more.

FLAVS Festival 2023 will be held on July 29 and 30 at Allianz Ecopark, Ancol, Jakarta. This year, the festival will have the theme “Unity” that tells about the spirit of diversity that, despite having many differences, is still one. FLAVS Festival 2023 will also celebrate 30 years since the first appearance of hip hop in Indonesia. Soon, FLAVS will also announce 3 special music projects that will be on stage later.
Previously, FLAVS Festival 2023 had announced the first performers, such as Tiara Andini, Maliq & D’Essentials, Kunto Aji, Kaka Slank, Tribute to Glenn Fredly: The Bakuucakar feat. Andmesh Kamaleng, NDX A.K.A, the winners of the talent show FLAVS Nu Icon, and many others.
