Bingkai Karya – The Indonesian music scene is about to welcome a fresh new face, Elisha Danielle. Represented by Sony Music Taiwan, Elisha has chosen Indonesia as the launching ground for her debut single “Pretty Easy,” which features a collaboration with local musician Petra Sihombing.
“When I decided to release my debut single in Indonesia, the team at Sony Music Indonesia suggested Petra as my collaborator and it turned out to be the perfect choice. It felt like he could read my mind. He really understood the essence of what I wanted to express, and that honesty came through in the music. I could truly hear my own voice in this song. I hope we get to work together again in the future,” said Elisha.
For her debut, Elisha delivers an upbeat track that contrasts with its rather melancholic lyrics. “At its core, this song is about someone whose emotional presence in a relationship, whether romantic or friendship is starting to fade. On one hand, they’re still holding on and hoping for something. But on the other, they’re also ready to walk away at any moment,” she explained.
Two main inspirations shaped “Pretty Easy”: ABBA and Bali. From ABBA, Elisha drew influence from their theatrical flair and colorful musical world. Bali, meanwhile, played a more personal role in the song’s creation. “Petra’s beautiful studio in Ubud wasn’t just a workspace, it became a part of the creative journey itself. It shaped the mood and energy of the song, and really helped the entire writing process,” she shared.
The decision to debut in Indonesia came after several discussions with her label. In addition to having Indonesian roots from one of her parents, Elisha feels that Indonesia stands out thanks to its vibrant music scene, strong support system, and warm, enthusiastic audience. “We felt Indonesia was the ideal place to begin this journey. And with the amazing support of the Taiwan team, we eventually chose to release this debut single together with Sony Music Indonesia.”
Elisha hopes that “Pretty Easy” will resonate with listeners through its light, fun, and easy going vibe. She also expressed her gratitude to her Indonesian fans for welcoming her music with open arms. “I’m truly thankful for all the support and excited to keep sharing more with you in the future. I can’t wait to meet you, sing for you, and connect with you in person someday. Thank you for letting my music be a part of your lives,” Elisha closed.
Elisha Danielle’s debut single, “Pretty Easy,” will be available on digital streaming platforms starting this September.
ABOUT ELISHA DANIELLE
Elisha Danielle is a young musician born in Singapore on September 12, 2001. Although she recently signed with Sony Music Taiwan, she is making her official debut in Indonesia with the single “Pretty Easy,” set to release on September 22, in collaboration with Petra Sihombing and Sony Music Indonesia. With Indonesian roots from one side of her family, the song is perhaps unknowingly inspired by the beauty of Bali, which played a big role in the creative process behind “Pretty Easy.” Through her debut single, Elisha hopes listeners will find comfort, peace, and inspiration.
Elisha has been immersed in music since childhood, starting with piano lessons and formal music training. Her love for pop music grew even stronger after a close friend introduced her to Taylor Swift for the first time, a moment that deeply influenced her musical taste. During college, she wrote her first full-length song entirely on her own. A fan of genres like folk, pop, alternative, and indie rock, Elisha also plays the omnichord, a portable electronic instrument known for its distinctive sound. Often used in indie and experimental music, the omnichord’s unique tone has become one of Elisha’s creative trademarks.
