Bingkai Karya – Indonesian singer-songwriter Kaleb J takes his musical journey through love into a deeper chapter with the release of “Tanda Cinta,” a single that explores the meaning of choosing someone for a lifetime. Released on October 7, 2026, the track also serves as the title song of his EP, offering a heartfelt reflection on commitment that goes beyond wedding ceremonies or romantic milestones.
The song continues a narrative that has developed organically throughout Kaleb J’s recent releases. While “Gerilya Cinta” explores the excitement of falling in love and “I Found You” celebrates the feeling of finding someone who feels like an answer to a prayer, “Tanda Cinta” moves the story toward a more mature expression of love: the willingness to build a life with someone and remain committed through the years.
“Everything came together organically,” Kaleb J explained, describing how the songs gradually formed a connected journey. For him, “Tanda Cinta” represents the point at which affection becomes a conscious promise to love the same person, not just in the present, but for the future.
Interestingly, “Tanda Cinta” was the fastest song to come together on the EP. Producer and co-writer Belanegara Abe first developed the chorus melody, which immediately inspired Kaleb J to explore a specific emotional depth. Kaleb J subsequently wrote the verses and bridge, and the song’s different sections came together naturally.
Musically, the track features an arrangement designed to emphasize its emotional sincerity. From the strings and guitar to the combined instrumental layers, each element contributes to a heartfelt atmosphere. Kaleb J also takes a more classical, poetic, and mature lyrical approach than in his previous songs. The metaphor “The harbor of your love / where I come to anchor” portrays love as a final destination after a long journey at sea, while the line “Forever, I am yours” reinforces the song’s central promise.
Rather than presenting soulmates as people destined for one another from the beginning, Kaleb J emphasizes the courage to choose a shared future. He hopes the song can resonate with those who have already found their partners as well as those preparing to build a life with someone they love.
Although Kaleb J has not personally experienced the depth of commitment described in the song, recording it became an opportunity to understand an emotion he had yet to experience firsthand. He described the process as both challenging and enjoyable, requiring him to convey the sincerity of lifelong devotion through his performance.
“Tanda Cinta” will also be accompanied by a live-performance music video, featuring Kaleb J singing the song directly. The release marks a meaningful chapter in the EP’s broader story, with the artist hinting that more may follow.
