Bingkai Karya – Global superstar Shakira co-headlined the Halftime Show of the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ Final alongside Madonna, Justin Bieber, and BTS. For the first time in FIFA World Cup™ history, the final featured a halftime show that brought together global artists for a special moment at the intersection of sport, culture, and a worthy cause, in support of the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.
Shakira performed her global number 1 hit, “Dai Dai”, which is the official song of the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. Shakira collaborated with Global Citizen and FIFA to provide access to education for children in underserved communities. Record royalties from “Dai Dai” were donated to the Education Fund, and Sony Music will match donations up to the first $250,000 raised. Additionally, Shakira is donating $1 from every ticket sold for her upcoming tour, ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’, to the Education Fund.
“Dai Dai” has taken the world by storm and become the number one song worldwide, making Shakira the first artist to reach number one on Spotify in both English and Spanish. In addition to reaching number one globally on Spotify, the song also topped the Billboard Global Top 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. US chart, making it the first official FIFA World Cup song to reach number one on those charts. The song has reached number one in France, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Korea, Sweden, Norway, the UAE, Belgium, Spain, and the top 5 in the UK, China, Italy, Portugal, and Canada. The music video has also remained at number one on YouTube since its release eight weeks ago, with over 400 million views.
For her performance, Shakira appeared on stage wearing a custom Roberto Cavalli dress designed by Fausto Puglisi, adorned with Swarovski crystals. Cavalli also designed her outfit for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
Her record-breaking world tour, ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’ World Tour, continues in the United States with performances at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on July 20 and 21, followed by UBS Arena on July 23, and Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall on July 25. The LMYNL Tour became the highest-grossing tour globally of 2025 and the highest-grossing tour of all time by a Hispanic artist, as reported by Billboard Boxscore. Later this year, she will return to Spain for her European residency: 12 stadium shows in Madrid at the purpose-built venue, ‘Shakira Stadium’, throughout September and October, following the success of her record-breaking stadium tour in North and South America.
