
Geisha is one of those legendary Indonesian bands that have been crocheting their musical career since the 2000’s and have made numerous hit songs throughout the years. And this year, they are reported to release the remake version of one of their hit songs ever that was released in 2009, ‘Tak Kan Pernah Ada’.
The remake version of ‘Tak Kan Pernah Ada’ will be included in their current project, “Love Recalls Version”. The remake version of the song is arranged differently with a modern version of the arrangement. Geisha aims to give their fans (that are often called as ‘MyGeisha’) and Indonesian listeners a whole new experience in listening to ‘Tak Kan Pernah Ada’.
Besides wanting to give the fans and the listeners a new experience in listening to the song, they admit that this is the form of their limitless exploration in their musical skill. They want to have a ‘fresh’ impression, since the Indonesian music industry has developed so much in various genres.

“For us, music has no boundaries. So now with the presence of Regina, we are trying to grow more with the music we explore,” Nard, Geisha’s bassist, stated his perspective of Geisha’s music after the replacement of Geisha’s vocalist.
In making the project “Love Recalls Version” comes to reality, the band collaborates with several musicians that suits Geisha’s style of music, the band’s vision, and the band’s mission perfectly. Also, they released the official music video of the remake version of ‘Tak Kan Pernah Ada’ that was directed by Sakti.
The band hopes that the new and modern version of Tak Kan Pernah Ada’ relates and can be enjoyed by the fans and the listeners all over Indonesia.
