Gloria Jessica released an EP, consisting of two tracks with the title of ‘What Are We Now?’ and ‘Curiosities’. The EP was released under Sinjitos Collective, with ‘What Are We Now?’ as the title track.
When we listen to ‘What Are We Now?’, we will be invited to dive into the feeling of uncertainty, flashing back to the life of the pandemic period. How we need to take a decision in the grays of pandemic life and the anxiety of welcoming unpredictable tomorrows.
With the sorrowful yet relatable lyrics, combined with Gloria’s powerful and distinctive voice, produced and written by Joseph Saryuf, ‘What Are We Now?’ is guaranteed to make us recall the feeling of living the old days of uncertainty. ‘What Are We Now?’ is a sign that Gloria is taking a step forward to her career in the music industry. She released her past work, Harlequin, back in 2021.

“This is my new journey… Indeed, this whole time, I have realized that I have disappeared. But through these 2 songs, I am back to business, taking a step back into music”, Gloria explains. While taking a break from her musical career, she was exploring new fields of work, like opening a coffee shop and a creative hub.
“We don’t need to know what the future holds, but we have to know what we want and not to be afraid to make mistakes,” Gloria said.
