Bingkai Karya – Without any prior notice, Hayley Williams has just released a surprise collection of 17 new tracks, all produced by Daniel James. Each song features Williams’ signature lyrical depth and creative flair, with the singer-songwriter writing, performing, and recording multiple instruments herself. The project includes contributions from long-time collaborators Brian Robert Jones and Joey Howard, and a feature by Jim-E Stack on “True Believer.”
This marks Williams’ first major self-released work following Paramore’s departure from Atlantic Records in late 2023, ending a two-decade contract she signed as a teenager. Released under her new independent label Post Atlantic and distributed by Secretly Distribution, the collection reflects Williams’ newfound artistic freedom.
The tracks span a wide sonic landscape ranging from the nostalgic late-‘90s alt-rock vibe of “Mirtazapine”, a love letter to antidepressants, to the vocally distorted introspection in “Glum.” Other standout tracks include “Whim,” a breezy Americana tune rooted in her Nashville upbringing, and “Ice in My OJ,” a sharp, witty anthem that reworks a chorus first sung by Williams in 2004 with the Mammoth City Messengers.
With this release, Williams displays a fearless creative range that transcends genre boundaries. Each track showcases her unique voice both literally and artistically and invites listeners into her world of honest experimentation.
This collection follows her solo releases during the pandemic era: 2020’s Petals For Armor and 2021’s Flowers for Vases, which explored themes of grief and emotional resilience. In contrast, her latest offering feels audacious and free, blending humor, vulnerability, and sonic risk-taking like never before.

Their 2023 comeback album This Is Why won two GRAMMYs, including ‘Best Rock Album’, making Paramore the first female-fronted band to win in that category since its inception 31 years ago.
Outside of Paramore, Williams continues to push artistic boundaries as a solo artist, mentor, and visionary in alternative music.
