Bingkai Karya – Jakarta-based pop-soul singer Ruth Garcia is back with a new single titled “Belah Hati”, following the release of her first Indonesian-language track “Oh Cinta” on June 2, 2025. This marks Ruth’s second original song in Bahasa Indonesia, offering a more emotionally mature and heartfelt direction in her music journey.
According to Ruth, “Belah Hati” is a song about someone who deeply loves their partner and feels the need to affirm that no one else could complete them. More than just a song, it’s a sincere confession of her own unspoken feelings.
“This song is honestly rooted in what I’ve been feeling,” Ruth shared. She added that the lyrics of “Belah Hati” fully capture emotions she’s long wanted to express, making the song deeply personal and intimate.
Unlike her solo debut which leaned heavily into R&B and soul, “Belah Hati” takes a new turn into retro-pop territory, evoking a nostalgic yet tender atmosphere. Ruth invites listeners to experience a softer, more grounded side of her showcasing emotional vulnerability rather than playful charm.
“This is a song that requires emotional readiness, not just technique,” she explained, contrasting it with her previous upbeat single “Oh Cinta” that felt more fun and flirty.
