Idgitaf presents their first full album titled “Mengudara.” She tries to show her maturity by presenting this album. As a young musician who often voices the process of becoming an adult, Gita (Idgitaf) is increasingly consistent in creating songs with lyrics that are expected to represent the anxiety of her generation. As such, Gita chose the theme of the album to be about letting it go.
“Mengudara” is released under a record label that Gita built herself called Idigitaf Musik. There are 9 songs in the album which are mainly about letting go. Singles that have been released earlier, such as “Satu-Satu”, “Dermaga”, and “Kehilangan” made their way into the album. The song with the same title as the album “Mengudara” was chosen as the focus track.
The song “Mengudara” is interpreted as the greatest form of love. It is about how to let someone you love go and accept them back. About the song, Gita said that the greatest form of love is when we pray for someone because when we pray for people, we love them and that’s really selfless love.
The list of the album “Mengudara” is completed by the presence of songs such as “Mulai” which is called the album’s mantra, “Lepaskan” expresses a sense of surrender, “Sepenuhnya” a cliché love song, “Akan Ku Kenang” an expression of all things sweet to remember, and “Selesai” talks about life.

The process of working on the album as a whole has started since the release of the single “SatuSatu” in June 2022. Gita made this album a proof because she did not want to delay her productivity in music. Among the names involved in the making of the Mengudara album are Ibnu Dian (Matter Halo), Wisnu Ikhsantama W., as well as the accompanying band that often accompanies Gita on stage, The Brads with members Michael Rodovan, Austin Ong, Ricco, Samuel, and Matthew.
Welcoming the release of the album, Gita has been diligently uploading comic strips through her personal Instagram social media account since early July 2023. She invited illustrators to work together because she wanted to promote the album in a different way in translating each song. Currently all the songs in this album “Mengudara” can already be listened to on all digital streaming platforms.
