Bingkai Karya-“PEACHY KEEN” is Jackson Lundy’s debut album, released December 6, 2024. Jackson experimented with Americana, country, and grunge this time.
“I’ve made conceptual projects, but I looked at this as my opportunity to put every style I like into one body of work,” he says. “I tried to be unique. The show is large but intimate.”
He also releases his latest hit, “runnin’,” a jazzy collaboration with Sarah Kang that has wobbly tambourine and handclaps. He sings soulfully smoky dialogue with Sarah Kang. Infusing Jackson’s love of hip-hop, R&B, and the early 2000s with a bossa nova influence, Jackson and Sarah speak of running away commitment and being terrified of undiscovered parts of oneself.
“There’s nothing more profound than genuinely being seen and loved,” he says of the song. It brings out your deepest selves. In a relationship, the song explores running from not being good enough. After “old me”, “happy (got 1)”, and “miller lite”, “runnin’” is a preview of his debut full-length.
Jackson ranks #2 in Indonesia and #5 in Thailand, expanding his Asian fanbase. His collaborator Sarah Kang has a significant Asian presence in her Top 10 streaming markets, with Indonesia at #1, followed by Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Philippines, and Vietnam.
