Janita’s joining Sony Music label was unintentional. Interested in her mesmerizing voice, the label team reached her out when she performed. Janita feels proud of being entrusted to develop her talent.

Janita acknowledged that the musical arrangement immediately captivated her the moment she received the demo. “When I first listened to the demo, I instantly fell in love with its touching musical arrangement. Besides, the genre of this song is something I’m familiar with, making it easier for me to sing.” Janita said.
Despite Janita’s familiarity with the genre, recording the song challenged her. The frequent changes in lyrics demanded constant adaptation to convey the emotion well.
“Kukira Selamanya” revolves around a woman’s disappointment who had high hopes for her long-term partner. Despite their long time, in the end, they couldn’t be together. Janita hoped music lovers would enjoy her debut track, which is available on digital streaming platforms.
