Bingkai Karya – Following a successful run of shows in various countries across Asia and Australia last year, Japanese rock band RADWIMPS has announced their return to Indonesia. They are set to bring their latest tour titled “The Way You Yawn, and the Outcry of Peace” to Jakarta on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at the Beach City International Stadium, Ancol.
Due to the overwhelming enthusiasm from fans in many countries and seeing their sold-out tickets last year, RADWIMPS decided to return to Indonesia to perform for their loyal fans who were unable to see them live last July.
Their last concert in Jakarta in July 2023 was met with an extraordinary response from their fans. Initially scheduled to take place at Hall Basket Senayan, all tickets in all categories were sold out in a matter of minutes. The concert was then moved to Tennis Indoor Senayan to accommodate more spectators. The promoter even sold additional tickets, which were all sold out in less than 1 hour. The concert became the best-selling solo concert by a Japanese group/band since the COVID-19 pandemic regulations were lifted in Indonesia.

In addition to Indonesia, RADWIMPS will also visit several other cities in Asia. The tour will kick off in Japan on April 6 at the iconic Yoyogi National Stadium 1st Gymnasium, Tokyo, before they head to Yokohama, Manila, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei, Jakarta, and Bangkok. Seoul will be the last city on the tour. RADWIMPS is scheduled to perform in Seoul on May 25 and 26 at the SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium. For this latest tour, RADWIMPS has collaborated with renowned Japanese artist Keiichi Tanaami, who designed the official tour poster. Known for his vibrant and abstract style, Tanaami is a globally recognized Japanese artist whose works have been exhibited in galleries worldwide. The collaboration began when Tanaami was contacted by RADWIMPS vocalist Yojiro, a longtime fan of Tanaami’s work.
