JAZ DELIVERS UNEXPRESSED MESSAGES IN HIS THIRD ALBUM “PESAN CINTA”

Bingkai Karya – After releasing the single “Boleh Merindu” on September 6, Jaz is now set to launch his third album, Pesan Cinta, at the end of February. The album features nine tracks, five of which have already been released as singles: “Move On Tutorial,” “Bersamamu,” “Seribu Tahun,” “Bukan dengan Dia (feat. Mawar de Jong),” and the latest, “Boleh Merindu.” The remaining four tracks are brand new: “Hilang,” “Jenuh,” “Hadirmu,” and “Dia.” Alongside the digital release, Jaz will also hold a launch event for Pesan Cinta at M Bloc Space on February 27, where he will perform several songs from his latest album.

Jaz shared that the album underwent a title change before settling on its current name. “Initially, the album was going to be called ‘Messenger,’ but after discussions with the label, we decided on Pesan Cinta,” he explained. The artist, who debuted in 2016, noted that the album was created relatively quickly without significant obstacles. “The process went smoothly since five songs were released earlier, and I received plenty of support from my team and the label to produce an album that truly reflects my musical direction.” In this album, Jaz collaborates with familiar names. The producers include Belanegara Abe, Kaleb J, Abraham Edo, Aldi Nada Permana, SEEK, Adrian Rahmat Purwanto, Ari Renaldi, SOIN, and Gerry Anake. Vocal direction was provided by Irvnat, Bowo Soulmate, and Barsena Bestandhi.

While Jaz’s previous albums illustrated the genres he explores, Pesan Cinta offers something different. “For me, this album feels like a space to explore new things. I usually stick to pop, but in Pesan Cinta, there are ballads and collaborations with other musicians. I hope this exploration resonates with music lovers who have followed me from my first single until now. Even while trying something new, my signature style remains intact, so my fans can still find the familiar Jaz in this album.”

Through this album, Jaz aims to convey feelings that often go unexpressed. “With these nine tracks, I want to deliver messages of love that have yet to be communicated. This album carries many sentiments that people experiencing longing or falling in love can relate to. Perhaps my listeners have unspoken feelings for their loved ones—whether partners, family, or secret crushes. Through this album, I hope these unexpressed messages will be felt by those they’re intended for, ultimately allowing them to be received. I also hope listeners respond positively to Pesan Cinta, just as they have to my previous albums and singles,” Jaz said about his third album, which marks eight years of his musical career since his debut single “Dari Matamu” in 2016.

Jaz’s latest album, Pesan Cinta, will be available on digital music platforms starting February 27, 2025.
