Bingkai Karya – Jaz Hayat, also known as Jaz, is set to surprise his fans with a new project. To promote the latest Sony Pictures film, “Fly Me to the Moon,” Jaz will be covering the classic song “Fly Me to the Moon,” which was originally written by Bart Howard.
Born in Brunei Darussalam on May 5, 1993, Jaz sees this opportunity as a big moment in his career. “I’m really excited to cover such an iconic song that many artists have sung. Thanks to Sony Pictures for picking me for this,” Jaz said.
To give some background, “Fly Me to the Moon” was first written by Bart Howard in 1954 under the title “In Other Words.” The most famous version is Frank Sinatra’s 1964 recording, which was part of the album “It Might as Well Be Swing.”
Jaz’s new version of the song will have a jazz feel but will also reflect his unique style. “I’ve never sung a pure jazz song before, so this version is customized to fit my style. Fans who know me for pop songs might be surprised by the jazz twist,” Jaz explained.
The recording and video shoot for the song were done quickly, in just two weeks. Jaz is thankful for the help he received, which made the process smooth. However, he admits he was a bit nervous about covering such a famous song. “I was a bit scared to sing ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ because it’s been done so many times. But since Sony Pictures believed in me, I’m giving it my best shot and hope it turns out great.”
Jaz hopes everyone enjoys his version of the song. “I hope music fans, whether they’re jazz lovers who know the original or new listeners, will enjoy my take on this classic. It’s a legendary song, and I want my version of ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ to be something everyone can appreciate.” Jaz’s new single, “Fly Me to the Moon” (From Fly Me to the Moon Movie), is available on all digital music platforms.
