Bingkai Karya – Global superstar JENNIE has officially released her highly anticipated debut studio album, Ruby, via ODD ATELIER/Columbia Records.
Co-produced by JENNIE, Ruby features her latest single “like JENNIE”, along with previously released tracks “ExtraL” ft. Doechii, “Mantra,” “ZEN,” and “Love Hangover” ft. Dominic Fike. This 15-track album also includes exciting collaborations with Childish Gambino, Dua Lipa, FKJ, and Kali Uchis.
Exploring a diverse range of genres, the album highlights JENNIE’s artistic evolution and cements her status as a global powerhouse.
Reflecting on her debut album, JENNIE shared:
“This album holds great significance as it tells my story as a solo artist through my own voice and vision. Inspired by Shakespeare’s play, ‘As You Like It,’ it captures themes of birth, love, faith, and zenith. The opening of the theater curtains symbolizes the beginning of a new chapter in my musical career. Working on this album was a precious process of growing as an artist and finding my true voice.“
Alongside the album release, JENNIE dropped the official music video for “like JENNIE,” featuring electrifying choreography that matches the track’s energy. The video premiered globally across MTV Live, MTVU, MTV Biggest Pop, and MTV’s international channels, as well as on the Paramount Times Square billboards.
To celebrate the album’s release, JENNIE is performing a series of intimate shows titled The Ruby Experience. The event kicked off with two performances at LA’s Peacock Theater, followed by shows at New York City’s iconic Radio City Music Hall on March 10 and Seoul’s Inspire Arena on March 15. JENNIE will also make her highly anticipated solo Coachella debut, performing on both Sundays of the festival.
