Kara Chenoa released his latest song entitled ‘Simple Crush’. This english new song is a song from Kara’s mini album released in 2023. ‘Simple Crush’ was officially released on all digital streaming platforms in Indonesia on January 6, 2023.
The Jakarta-based singer-songwriter Kara Chenoa described “Simple Crush” as a song about a person’s journey as they grow and come to know what love is all about. He continued by saying that love is not easy and needs sacrifice. The song, which has an upbeat tempo and is rich in R&B nuances, was written by Kara and produced by Monty Hasan.
Kara said that compared to his previous songs, this one is really different. He aims to make songs that are more simple and minimalist in this song. Prior to this, he released 2 songs in 2022, entitled “Missus Superficial,” which marked his debut with Stacks, Warner Music Indonesia’s Urban Division.
The official lyric video for the song was released on Kara Chenoa’s YouTube channel the same day. Kara hopes that Indonesian music listeners would enjoy his newest song, especially those who are in love. He also hopes that this song would provide joy to people who are in love even though it is not always simple.
