KeNN’s New Single Perfectly Captures That Sweet, Awkward Feeling of Falling in Love: “DATTO 脱兎”

Bingkai Karya – Have you ever liked someone so much that you froze? Your words tangled, your palms went cold, and instead of moving closer… you stepped away?

That is the heartbeat of “DATTO 脱兎”, the latest single from rising singer-songwriter KeNN. Named after the Japanese phrase meaning “a rabbit darting away”, the track paints a vivid picture of the innocent yet overwhelming emotions that come with new love when you’re trying too hard to be perfect, and in the process, you lose your footing.

Rather than a breakup anthem, “DATTO 脱兎” is about the moment before anything even begins. It’s about hesitation, nerves, and the sweet anxiety of liking someone so much, you’re scared to be seen.

With soft vocals, airy production, and an addictive R&B-pop flow, the song captures the warm vulnerability of a crush that shakes you to your core.

Music Video Release: The official music video drops Wednesday, 23 July, telling the story of a boy so flustered by his crush that he spirals into self-doubt. His heart races, hands tremble, and even though he wants to stay, his instinct is to run hoping maybe, just maybe, they’ll chase after him.
