Bingkai Karya-Houston-born artist keshi is back with a new single, “Dream,” from his upcoming album “Requiem.” The track features keshi’s signature emotional lyrics set against gentle guitar and haunting piano.
keshi describes “Dream” as the perfect song, capturing the bittersweet feeling of lingering “what ifs” and sleepless nights. “Dream is my idea of the perfect song,” he says. “Lyrics vivid yet concise, production sparse but intentional, and wrapped up with a tagline that’s supposed to gut you. It’s about the ‘what if’ that keeps you up at night, and the feeling you can’t seem to let go. It’s beautifully haunting, the kind of song you sing with your heart in your throat.”
In the newly released music video for “Dream,” keshi takes viewers to a captivating world where a solitary figure meets an angel. Christian Haahs from AEDIA STUDIO directed this music video, also known for his work with NewJeans and Stray Kids.
Keshi’s second album, “Requiem,” drops on September 13 via Island Records. “Dream” follows his hit single “Say,” which quickly became a streaming sensation, reaching over 10 million listens on Spotify alone in just a month.
Kick Off a Major Tour
This fall, keshi will kick off a major 35-city tour. Performing at top venues across North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia. The tour starts on October 6 at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena. Including stops at Madison Square Garden in New York, the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, and many more.
keshi has become a streaming powerhouse, amassing over 11 billion streams with his EPs and debut album, “Gabriel.” His impressive success has allowed him to tour the globe, selling out shows and enhancing his live performances. After sold-out shows at Radio City Music Hall and The Greek Theatre last year, keshi is set to take his music to even bigger stages.
