Lacuna Makes Surprise Roar with Guerilla Performance to Promote New Single “Bow-Wow”

Bingkai Karya – South Korean rockers Lacuna dropped a surprise on fans this past weekend with a guerilla performance to promote their latest single “Bow-Wow,” which was released today.

The band announced the 30-minute set just 24 hours prior, taking to the rooftop of EQL Seongsu Grove, a fashion store in Seoul’s popular Seongsu district. The tactic, a favorite among underground acts, quickly drew a large crowd of fans eager to catch a glimpse of the band’s new material.

Lacuna has established themselves as a rising star in the Korean rock scene since their debut in 2018 with the EP “Incompleteness Dream.”  Over the past five years, they’ve gained a reputation for their exciting live shows and infectious energy. In 2023, they expanded their reach beyond Korea, playing shows across Asia and even venturing to Germany. Festival appearances at Megaport Festival in Taiwan and Busan International Rock Festival further solidified their place as a band to watch.

With the release of “Bow-Wow” and this surprise performance, Lacuna shows no signs of slowing down. Keep an eye out for this band – they’re sure to make even bigger waves in the future.
