Bingkai Karya -Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, Joe Hahn, Emily Armstrong, and Colin Brittain have unveiled a new single titled “Over Each Other,” which is emotionally packed.
This time, Emily Armstrong’s powerful, rising solo vocal drives the song. As she sings, “All we are is talking over each other,” icy keys flicker over a glitchy beat and guitar. Joe Hahn’s Seoul-shot cinematic video follows the intense dramatic arc of a relationship poised to crumble, portraying the track’s turbulent emotional ebb and flow.
Linkin Park—”Over Each Other”
On November 15, LINKIN PARK will release their first album since 2017, ‘FROM ZERO’, preceded by “Over Each Other”. “This song is special because it’s my first solo vocal in LINKIN PARK… I can’t believe I’m saying that,” says Armstrong. “But it’s an emotive, relatable rhythm. And shooting the video in Korea with Joe, who is so talented, is something I will always remember.”
Hahn says, “I finally got to direct a Korean project, which was my dream! Emily and I are appreciative to the cast and crew for helping us remain a few extra days following our Seoul show. We wanted it to seem like a K-drama, so we accepted the K-ness. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!”
LINKIN PARK debuted “The Emptiness Machine” this season. It became the largest rock song of 2024 and the #1 rock tune in the country. It rose quickly to #1 on Billboard Mainstream and Alternative and Rock Airplay Charts. The band has had 13 #1 entries on the latter list (second-most in history), three in the last 18 months.
“The Emptiness Machine” has collected over 250 million global streams. They reached 270 million streams and 55 million YouTube views with their last release, “Heavy Is The Crown,” last month.
