Bingkai Karya – The long-awaited moment has finally arrived. Nabila Taqiyyah, a talented young singer who has released several singles, is grateful to finally present her debut album “Kekal Yang Sementara” under Universal Music Indonesia.
This album marks an important milestone in her career after deciding to pursue a path in the Indonesian music industry. “As a singer or musician, having an album is something everyone dreams of, and so do I. This is an incredible achievement for me,” Nabila shared about her first album.
“Kekal Yang Sementara” consists of eight songs. Two of them were previously released as singles, “Ku Ingin Pisah” and “Terpatah Terluka,” while the other six are new tracks: “Pengagum Rahasia,” “Menikmati Kebohongan,” “Salah Sangka,” “Sementara Bukan Selamanya,” “Cinta Sia-Sia,” and the focus track “Berjalan Tanpamu.”
Interestingly, Nabila Taqiyyah is not only the singer but also contributed to songwriting on several tracks, including “Pengagum Rahasia,” “Menikmati Kebohongan,” and “Sementara Bukan Selamanya.”
The album mainly features pop ballads and reflects her personal experiences with first love and heartbreak. “This album validates the feelings of heartbreak that people of all ages, teenagers, adults, and even the elderly” she explained.
The title “Kekal Yang Sementara” may seem contradictory, but it expresses the idea that feelings for someone can last forever, even if the time spent together is only temporary.
The focus track, “Berjalan Tanpamu,” tells the story of a love journey that eventually cannot continue and ends in sadness. Despite the heartbreak, life must go on without the person. This emotional song was written by Caturadi Septembrianto and produced by S/EEK. Its minimalist arrangement enhances the deep sense of sadness and heartbreak conveyed through the melody.
Overall, “Kekal Yang Sementara” is a beautifully crafted love album. Although filled with sorrowful themes, it carries a positive message throughout its tracks.
Through this album, Nabila Taqiyyah hopes listeners understand that feelings of disappointment, sadness, and anger after a breakup are normal and experienced by everyone—life should not stop because of them.
“There are so many positive things out there to focus on rather than being trapped in heartbreak. This album represents that message,” she concluded.
