Bingkai Karya – After successfully reaching tens of millions of listeners through his deeply personal and emotional works, Nadhif Basalamah returns with a new color in his musical journey. This time, he releases orchestral versions of two songs that hold a special place in his heart, “Bergema Sampai Selamanya” and “Kota Ini Tak Sama Tanpamu,” in collaboration with renowned composer Andi Rianto.
This collaboration did not happen by chance. From the very beginning, Nadhif had a strong desire to work with Andi Rianto, who is widely known for his distinctive ability to translate emotions into orchestral arrangements. For this project, Andi Rianto brought in the Budapest Scoring Orchestra to achieve the grand, cinematic sound they envisioned.
“I’ve always wanted to work with Mas Andi because I believe he has a very special way of translating emotions into orchestration. My songs are quite personal, and I feel that Mas Andi can elevate those emotions to a broader level without losing their essence,” Nadhif shared.
Andi Rianto expressed a similar sentiment. For him, collaborating with Nadhif Basalamah has been a joyful experience, as he sees Nadhif as a musician who brings honesty into every piece of work.
“Nadhif Basalamah is an Indonesian male singer whose works are loved by many. In my view, this is because his songs carry beautiful melodies and lyrics that resonate closely with people’s everyday lives. The emotions and honesty he brings into his singing are his greatest strengths. I am truly proud and happy to collaborate with him,” said Andi Rianto.
The selection of “Bergema Sampai Selamanya” and “Kota Ini Tak Sama Tanpamu” was also far from arbitrary. Both songs hold personal significance for Nadhif and have received strong responses from listeners. He saw an opportunity to explore these songs further, especially by wrapping them in rich, emotional orchestral arrangements.
The production process of these two tracks also became a memorable story of its own. Created during the month of Ramadan, the entire creative journey was filled with warmth. Moments of breaking the fast together before returning to the studio helped strengthen the bond behind the scenes.
“The process was really fun. Emotional, but at the same time very enjoyable, we laughed a lot. Since we were fasting, we often ordered food to break the fast together and ended up exchanging food recommendations. Simple moments like that made the whole process feel warmer and more meaningful,” Nadhif added.
Through these orchestral versions, Nadhif Basalamah and Andi Rianto not only bring new life to two beloved songs, but also expand the way listeners can experience their emotions more deeply, while staying true to the honesty that defines his music.
The orchestral versions of “Bergema Sampai Selamanya” and “Kota Ini Tak Sama Tanpamu” will be released on March 27, 2027, across all digital streaming platforms.
