Bingkai Karya – New York’s electronic artist FiFi ZHANG returns with debut album ‘FLEETING HEARTS’, with sounds and visuals heavily inspired by 90s anime and fashion. A reflection of FiFi’s 1999 apocalyptic dream, the album is filled with fragile emotions, escapist sentiments, and self healing.
Following her acclaimed EP So Beautiful So Lonely, ‘FLEETING HEARTS’ is a full length dance album that infuses Drum ‘n’ Bass, UK Garage, House, and Hyperpop with a dream like vocal softness. The album features 10 songs, all written, produced, and mixed by FiFi, including three co-produced with tomcbumpz, age, Swami Sound, and dazegxd. Through her own creative direction, styling, and design, FiFi builds immersive universes around her work, acting as her own creative director across music videos to capture the ever changing nature of love and life.
FiFi ZHANG is a Shanghai born, New York based electronic artist. Weaving delicate vocals through Drum & Bass, UK Garage, and House, she crafts immersive soundscapes that explore urban loneliness, fragile emotions and escapist sentiments. Her breakout EP So Beautiful So Lonely (2023), has surpassed 3 million streams across platforms.
A signed songwriter with 88rising, FiFi has brought her unique sonic world to major international stages including 88rising’s Head in the Clouds Festival (New York, Los Angeles, Guangzhou) and standout venues like All Club Shanghai, Elsewhere and Baby’s All Right. In 2024, she toured with London based label Eastern Margins, and in 2025 broadcast her DJ mix on NTS Radio.
A captivating visual storyteller, FiFi crafts immersive universes around her work through animation, styling and design, acting as her own creative director across music videos and live performances. Her music videos have more than 500K total views on Youtube, and were featured on NOWNESS, and screened at indie film events. Drawing inspiration from 90s anime and movies, her visual world is rich with symbolism, softness and surreal intensity, infusing her work with both fantastical beauty and emotional bite.
