BingkaiKarya– Nyoman Paul, a talented young singer, releases his fourth single to improve his Indonesian music career. Under Universal Music Indonesia, he publishes “Tunggu Apa Lagi”—a mid-tempo pop single.
“Tunggu Apa Lagi” demonstrates Nyoman Paul’s unique singing and songwriter style. After the success of his pop ballad “Mundur Perlahan” in May 2024, Nyoman Paul challenged himself to write and sing a mid-tempo song that showcased his fresh side. Nyoman Paul, Rahman Sadli Waraiya, and S/EEK write “Tunggu Apa Lagi”.
“Tunggu Apa Lagi” is more alive and brighter than “Mundur Perlahan” so I want to convey a different side of me as a singer and songwriter. In contrast to my previous song, which is gloomier and talks about the struggle you face when your lover is still in the shadow of her ex, “Tunggu Apa Lagi” is about meeting someone right and falling in love with her, making my life even more colorful and enjoyable.
Nyoman Paul describes the song’s story as being free from your gloomy past and meeting someone better who makes you fall in love once more.“That happiness rush at the start of a relationship can lead you to rush things, which sometimes doesn’t end well. The first part of this song reminds lovers to take it easy and enjoy those little moments”. Nyoman Paul says the second half of the song reflects how convinced we are in loving this person and understanding it’s time to make things official.
