Baby Zu

Bingkai KaryaMalang-based Mocca Studio will premiere Baby Zu, an animated children’s show. Baby Zu’s YouTube channel features 10 animal characters: Momo the monkey, Cici the rabbit, Blu the dog, Bubu the bear, Gaja the elephant, Chui the sheep, Kuro the turtle, Oli the duck, Mrs. Risma the owl, and Mr. Mao the tiger. These eight juvenile animals are ready to explore under Mrs. Risma and Mr. Mao.

Mocca Studio created this show to address parents’ concerns about gadgets impacting how their kids are growing up.”The digital revolution has made gadgets essential, especially for kids. Parents now focus on how screen time can benefit kids rather than destroy them. Baby Zu is an appealing choice for parent-child bonding,” Mocca Studio said. The studio worked with early childhood education professionals to design Baby Zu’s animation content.

About Baby Zu

Baby Zu was inspired by Mocca Studio’s 11 years of animation experience. “Over the past decade, 80% of our animation services have been children’s programming. From there, we learned about kids’ show scripts, color palettes, and packaging,” Mocca Studio said. The company revealed that each character reflects unique age groups through research and character-driven storytelling. “It was hardest to write episodic stories that required characters to work together to solve animal school concerns. Each character in episodic stories has a case to solve. We struggle to write a complete plot while retaining each character’s individual features,” Mocca Studio said.

Original and famous Indonesian children’s songs accompany Baby Zu’s episodic narrative. Om Moe, who produced Baby Zu’s first album “Hujan Turun”, wrote the songs. This project, which began in 2023, has resulted in the creation of approximately 80 children’s songs in conjunction with independent musician Monohero from Malang. Baby Zu’s creative production, from scriptwriting to voice acting and animation, is entirely in Malang, with marketing assistance from Surabaya and Jakarta. The studio intends to develop Baby Zu’s educational content and introduce more characters based on the public’s reception of the premiere content. Baby Zu’s YouTube channel and @babyzu.official social media accounts feature its enjoyment.

About Baby Zu: Momo the monkey, Cici the rabbit, and Blu the dog star in Baby Zu, a charming animated children’s show. They sing, learn, and play with others. Parents may teach their kids about ethics and values through enjoyable and interactive stories on the show.
