Bingkai Karya – Good Morning Everyone (GME), an alternative pop band from Semarang, is known for crafting songs that blend heartfelt, everyday storytelling with their signature sound. The band is set to release their new EP, ‘Kalah,’ on September 4, 2026. Breaking away from the conventional EP rollout, ‘Kalah’ will be introduced gradually through a serialized release strategy, beginning with its lead single, “Salah,” which arrived on all digital streaming platforms on July 3, 2026.
Consisting of five members Sani (vocals), Daniel (guitar), Erwin (keyboards), Dani (bass), and Yuli (guitar) ‘Kalah’ marks one of the band’s most meaningful projects to date. Every song on the EP features acclaimed Indonesian musician and songwriter Fiersa Besari, bringing a fresh musical dimension that enriches GME’s signature sound while staying true to the band’s artistic identity.
The EP’s opening single, “Salah,” was written by Sani and tells the story of someone who is constantly perceived as being at fault by their partner. Kalah consists of four tracks: “Salah,” “Ia,” “Salah (Acoustic Version),” and “Ia (Acoustic Version).” “Kalah is about accepting that not everything in life can be won. Sometimes you’ve given your best, yet you’re still seen as the one who’s wrong. That’s where the songs on this EP were born,” Sani shared.
Last year, GME performed as one of the guest artists at ZANDARI Festival, an international music festival in South Korea. The experience became a major source of motivation for the Semarang-based alternative pop outfit to continue creating and sharing their music with a wider audience. Following the release of “Salah” on July 3, 2026, the full EP ‘Kalah’ will be available on all digital streaming platforms on September 4, 2026.

Good Morning Everyone (GME) is an alternative pop band from Semarang, Indonesia, recognized for its emotionally resonant songs and relatable storytelling. The band consists of Sani (vocals), Daniel (guitar), Erwin (keyboards), Dani (bass), and Yuli (guitar).
In 2016, GME received an AMI Awards nomination for Best Music Production for their song “Move On.” In December 2023, the band represented Indonesia as one of the guest performers at ZANDARI Festival in South Korea. Over the years, GME has released a number of fan-favorite singles, including “Tunggu Aku” (2018), “Secepat Mungkin” (2018), and “Bukan Begitu Caramu” (2020). They also released the EP ‘Lusi’ in 2021, followed by their first full-length album, Bapak, at the end of 2024. In 2026, GME collaborated with Fiersa Besari on the single “Salah,” marking the beginning of their latest musical chapter.
