Bingkai Karya — On October 18, 2025, Indonesian musician Pamungkas marked another milestone in his musical journey. Following the success of his Birdy Tour Southeast Asia in 2023, he continued to make waves by participating in the 2025 Round Music Forum and performing at the Grand Mint Festival 2025 held at Olympic Park, Seoul.

The Grand Mint Festival is widely recognized as one of South Korea’s most prestigious music festivals, known for its diverse lineup that spans multiple genres. This year, Pamungkas proudly represented Indonesia as the only invited performer from the country, following in the footsteps of Mocca the first Indonesian act to perform at the festival 17 years ago, in 2008.

“It feels incredible to bring Indonesian music to Korea. This is not just about me, but about how our music can be heard and embraced abroad,” said Pamungkas.

In addition to his stage performance, Pamungkas also took part in the 2025 Round Music Forum held on October 17 in Seoul, a strategic platform where music industry professionals from Korea and ASEAN come together to explore cross-country collaborations, digital strategies, and the future of Asian pop music.

Through his participation in both the forum and the festival, Pamungkas continues to reflect a long creative journey, one that began in his bedroom and has now reached international stages, including South Korea.

For Pamungkas, performing in Seoul is not just about the spotlight, but about building cultural bridges. He believes that music unites people beyond language, because at its core, it’s an expression of emotion that everyone can feel.

This moment serves as a reminder that the journey of Indonesian music doesn’t end at home. From Jakarta to Seoul, Pamungkas carries a simple message: Indonesian music is not only being heard, it’s being felt by hearts around the world.
