Bingkai Karya – Pee Wee Gaskins (PWG) returned to the Pestapora stage, bringing songs from their album ‘A Youth Not Wasted’ after previously appearing at the festival last year with their ‘Salute’ album concept. Their latest appearance also featured “(R)u(n)tuh,” their newest single in collaboration with Boniex of For Revenge.
The excitement surrounding PWG’s appearance could already be felt around the festival area, with many people seen walking around in Pee Wee Gaskins shirts ahead of their performance. The sight reflected the anticipation surrounding the band’s return to one of the festival’s stages.
For Party Dorks, the moment was one they had been waiting for. PWG performed at the Sat Set Stage, with their set scheduled before King Nassar. The lineup created a diverse crowd watching the performance, bringing together audiences with different musical interests in one space.
The performance also became an opportunity for PWG to present material from ‘A Youth Not Wasted’ following their previous Pestapora appearance. This year’s set offered a different presentation from their ‘Salute’-focused performance the year before, while continuing to bring their music directly to their audience through a live festival setting.
One of the highlights of the performance was “(R)u(n)tuh,” the band’s latest single featuring Boniex of For Revenge. The collaboration added a special moment to PWG’s set as the song was brought directly to the Pestapora crowd.
With their return to Pestapora, PWG once again met their audience through a live performance while introducing their latest collaboration. From songs from ‘A Youth Not Wasted’ to “(R)u(n)tuh,” their appearance gave Party Dorks another moment to experience the band’s latest musical offerings on stage.
