Bingkai Karya-Coldplay announced the release of its highly anticipated tenth album, “Moon Music.” The record will be available in stores and streaming services on October 4, 2024. The album’s first single, “feelslikeimfallinginlove” will be released globally on Friday, June 21.

Coldplay performed the song for the first time at Budapest’s Puskás Aréna stadium show. “Moon Music” features Maks Martin as the producer. Now available for pre-order everywhere, with a limited signed edition at Coldplay’s official store.

In line with Coldplay’s innovative sustainability moves on their current tour, Coldplay have been working towards releasing their physical albums as sustainable as possible for the environment. This move has so far resulted in 59% less CO2e emissions compared to their previous stadium tours.

The album will be the first album in the world in 140g EcoRecord LP. Each copy made from 9 recycled PET plastic bottles taken from post-consumer waste. This will prevent the production of over 25 metric tons of pure plastic. Also it will provide an 85% reduction in CO2 emissions/kg of production compared to traditional 140g vinyl.

In addition, Coldplay has collaborated with longtime partner The Ocean Cleanup to create an additional format: the Notebook Edition. They use EcoRecord LP. rPET for this edition. This format consists of 70% river plastic, intercepted by The Ocean Cleanup from the Rio Las Vacas river, Guatemala.

Moon Music’s CD edition will be the world’s first EcoCD release. It is made from 90% recycled polycarbonate, sourced from the post-consumer waste stream. This will result in a reduction of CO2/kg emissions by at least 78% and avoid the production of over five metric tons of pure plastic.
