RENDY PANDUGO and PAMUNGKAS Released a Collaboration Single Titled “FRIENDS”

“Look around, you’ve got a friend in me”

Exquisitely written by Pamungkas and produced by Pamungkas and Rendy Pandugo
himself, “Friends” was mastered and finished by multiple grammy winning engineer, Randy
Merril @ Sterling Sound whose credits include Olivia Rodrigo’s SOUR, Taylor Swift’s Folklore,
and more. Also mixed by Ollipop @ The Kennel Sweden, who works for a couple of big names such as TXT Big Hit and Red Velvet.

The main idea of the song came from Rendy Pandugo and Pamungkas’ idea to create a song
about a genuine friendship. The song is telling a story about a genuine friendship, Rendy
Pandugo and Pamungkas want to tell that in any circumstances, in uncertainty, in fear, and in loneliness, you will always have your friends around you.

One of the exciting collaborative works between Rendy Pandugo and Pamungkas, “Friends”
wrapped in a combination of types of music between Rendy Pandugo, and Pamungkas with
a little bit of electronic modern sounds that will bring back the core memories with your
friends while listening to the track. “Friends” will be available at any digital streaming
platform worldwide on May 27, 2022 alongside “Friends” Official Music Video.

The music video portrays a quite simple story which really describes the essence of the track
through visuals. A story about 4 friends who have been separated for a long time finally meet
again at a funeral reunion, this becomes a place to reminisce about their happy past
memories together. Showing genuine friendships, while reminiscing the memories they had
with a friend that already gone but in the end they still celebrate his life. To make it more
emotional and heart-warming, the music video starred Rendy Pandugo and Pamungkas, as
well as their friends, Oslo Ibrahim and Romantic Echoes as the cameo roles. The story was
captured and done by Otherlands Production, and directed by Senry Alvin.
