Bingkai Karya-Rising indie-rock artist, meg elsier announces her forthcoming debut album, “spittake,” releasing on June 28th. Alongside the announcement, meg also reveals her upcoming North American Fall tour dates supporting Finom.
Originally from New England and currently residing in Nashville, meg elsier has become one of the indie-rock genre’s most promising new talents. meg develops her own unique sound by fusing gritty guitars and hefty production with her lovely voice and lush melodies. Her lyrics covey her wit and self-awareness, perfectly blending with the dreamy shoegaze feel of her music.
Her much-awaited album “spittake” features the previously released singles “baby,” “iznotreal,” “ifshitfuq,” “forlyleinsanfrancisco,” and “oldnews.” meg recently released a remix of her most recent song, “oldnewsremix” ft. Coleman.X. This collaboration song showcased her versatility as an artist and turned her indie-rock song into a hyper-pop hit.
“Creating spittake was the biggest and scariest thing I’ve ever done, it’s something I worked for and at first, seemed almost unthinkable to accomplish. However, it did happen!” said meg. She hopes that her first record will serve as a proper introduction to who she really is. Rather than copying others, she wants to show herself as meg elsier.
