Bingkai Karya-rouri404 released a five-track EP “crows” via Red Bull records. The project features the brand-new single “decay,” which features alternative artist and longtime collaborator Vaeo. “Crows” is the culmination of the rouri404 past year’s releases, showcasing their sonic evolution and personal growth.
The official music video for single “decay (feat. Vaeo),” which was directed by Pilot Lee, completes the EP. The visual brings the viewer into isolated spaces with rouri404, stitched between home video-style footage that mirrors the DIY tone of the track. The duo’s chemistry and dynamic relationship radiates across the screen. Sparks throughout the intensity of the song.
Regarding “crows,” rouri404 says, “I really wanted to just make a project where every song hits hard with as little downtime as possible, and after recording ‘smile.’ I had a super strong feeling that it had to be the first track on an EP.” Lyrically, they just wanted to be as open and honest as possible. For the production, rouri404 tried to push a lot of sounds and concepts. They touched on in the past to the edge. Anybody should be able to listen to the project and adopt it as their own, which is their primary objective. rouri404 hoping that at least one of these songs will be able to make someone feel less alone and provide them a platform to express their emotions.
