Sam Smith released “Night Before Christmas,” a lovely holiday love ballad, as a brand-new Christmas single on November 18. “The Lighthouse Keeper”, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, “Palace”, “River”, and “Fire on Fire” – from Watership Down – will now be included in Sam’s enchanted holiday collection “The Holly and The Ivy,” along with “Night Before Christmas.”
This holiday party serves as a lead-in to Sam’s eagerly awaited new album, “GLORIA”, which will be released on January 27. The album’s debut track, the megahit “Unholy” featuring Kim Petras, has continued to top international charts. “Unholy” has received more than 600 million Spotify streams and is Sam’s sixth UK Official Chart No. 1, in addition to peaking at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Sam and Kim are getting ready for their UK and European tour in the spring after Sam and Kim were honored with an MTV EMA this week for the Video For Good Award and after selling out two headlining performances at London’s famed Royal Albert Hall.
