Selena Gomez has finally returned to the world of music after several years of busy acting and other commercial projects. On Thursday, August 17, 2023, Gomez announced in a message posted on her social media that she would release her new single titled “Single Soon” as well as complete her fourth album.
“You guys have been asking for new music for a long time. Since I’m not done with SG3 yet, I wanted to put out a fun song I wrote a while back that’s perfect for the end of summer,” Gomez said. “SINGLE SOON. August 25,” she said.
“Single Soon” will be Gomez’s first international music endeavor since the release of her third studio album “Rare” in early 2020. Single Soon by Benny Blanco and Cashmere Cat. Gomez did have an album in March 2021, “Revelación”, a mini album that features Latin and Spanish music.

In June 2021, Selena Gomez revealed that she was working on a new song. Gomez said this while attending the premiere of “Only Murders in the Building 2“.
Afterward, Selena Gomez seemed busy with the third season of the series “Only Murders in the Building”. She returned as an executive producer and co-starred alongside Steve Martin and Martin Short. The show’s third season premieres on August 8, 2023, with new guest stars and characters such as Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd.
