Bingkai Karya-After previously releasing her single titled “Terbawa Suasana,” Sisca Saras is now back with her new single, “Cinta Setara.” It’s no coincidence that these two songs are connected to each other.
In “Terbawa Suasana,” Sisca sings about the excitement of being approached by someone, but in “Cinta Setara,” the story takes a turn. “In ‘Terbawa Suasana,’ we were kind of questioning ourselves, still in the butterfly effect phase, still being cute when a guy approaches. But then, the next part of the story, ZONK! He approached, but it wasn’t real love, and this is what is conveyed in ‘Cinta Setara,’” said Sisca. Written by Clara Riva, who also wrote “Terbawa Suasana,” this single became one that Sisca immediately connected with when she first heard it.
The song was produced by S/EEK, with mixing and mastering by Dimas Pradipta. Several musicians, including Adrian Rahmat Purwanto, Jessilardus Mates, Marco Steffiano, Yusup Albanti, and Barsena Bestandhi, also contributed to its creation.
The Music Video
For the music video, Sisca worked with Prialangga as the concept creator and director. “The concept is so out-of-the-box! Who would’ve thought of having a horse inside a house!” Sisca said. She loved how playful and feminine the video turned out and said it reflects a bold attitude, showing that women can make the first move in relationships. “I really like the cute concept for the MV, something very feminine! Also the idea of being a girl who is bold and doesn’t just wait for a guy to approach. I think girls should also be able to approach a guy first or have feelings for him first,” she continued.
